Before submitting their manuscript, authors must verify that the manuscript:

- presents the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions clearly and coherently, when applicable;
- uses relevant and appropriately cited bibliographic references;
- complies with the principles of research ethics and integrity;
- has not been previously published and is not simultaneously under evaluation by another journal.
The journal may conduct a similarity assessment of the manuscript as part of the preliminary editorial evaluation, in accordance with its Ethics and Publication Policy.
The submission must include the files and documents requested by the journal to ensure appropriate editorial management and a double-blind peer review process.
Authors must submit:
- PDF manuscript with the complete identification of the authors, including names, institutional affiliations, and other requested information;
- anonymized PDF manuscript, without names, affiliations, or other elements that could directly identify the authors;

- ethical compliance statement or commitment letter, when required by the journal;
- statement regarding the non-exclusive right of first publication, in accordance with the journal's Access, Copyright, and Licensing Policy.
All authors listed in the manuscript must have approved its submission and agreed to their authorship. Any modification to the list of authors after the editorial process has begun must be duly justified and receive the written approval of all co-authors.
All submitted manuscripts will initially undergo a preliminary editorial evaluation to verify their correspondence with the journal's focus and scope, compliance with the instructions for authors, formal requirements, apparent originality, and applicable ethical provisions.
When correctable formal deficiencies are identified, the manuscript may be returned to the authors for revision before proceeding with the editorial process. Manuscripts that fall outside the journal's scope or fail to meet fundamental editorial or ethical requirements may be rejected at this stage.
Manuscripts that successfully pass the preliminary editorial evaluation and require peer review will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript will be evaluated by at least two external and independent reviewers, selected according to their expertise and competence in the corresponding subject area.
The final editorial decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief or the designated responsible editor, taking into consideration the reviewers' reports, thematic relevance, scientific and editorial criteria, and applicable ethical provisions.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that the information presented in the manuscript is accurate and that the scientific contribution is original, relevant, and adequately supported.
Manuscripts must not have been submitted simultaneously to another journal or constitute duplicate, redundant, or fragmented publications.
Authors must declare any conflict of interest that may influence, or may be perceived as influencing, the research or the editorial process.
When required by the nature of the research, authors must obtain the appropriate ethical approvals, institutional authorizations, informed consents, or other permissions required by the applicable legislation and regulations governing the study.
Authors must also obtain the necessary permissions to use and publish materials belonging to third parties, such as photographs, figures, tables, texts, databases, or other copyrighted content.
